Background
Dr. Dashia Andrews, Ph.D., career has spanned over two decades in the education sector, where she has excelled as an author, speaker, program developer, and non-profit executive. With an unwavering dedication to empowering marginalized women and youth, Dr. Andrews has significantly impacted the field of educational advocacy and purpose-driven leadership. She spent ten years as a K-12 schoolteacher before assuming the role of Principal at an innovative all-female alternative school, where she served for eight years.
As the CEO of She's on Purpose and a Purpose Ambassador, Dr. Andrews leads a transformative movement focused on guiding women towards self-discovery, embracing their worth, and fulfilling their life's purpose.
Dr. Andrews' journey to leadership is marked by remarkable resilience, having navigated 72 foster homes and motherhood at the age of 13. These experiences have deepened her understanding of resilience, driving her passion for advocating for vulnerable women and youth.
A Miami native, Dr. Andrews holds multiple degrees, including two Ph.D.s,, one in Organization Leadership and another in Leadership in Special Education, reflecting her commitment to driving positive change within educational systems. Through her visionary leadership, Dr. Andrews inspires individuals to unlock their potential and pursue purpose-driven lives, both personally and professionally.
